Radhanath Swami has been a leader in ISKCON for over four decades. He joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1971 and has been an integral part of the organization ever since. Over the years, he has held various leadership positions within ISKCON, including serving as a temple president, a member of the Governing Body Commission, and a spiritual mentor for many devotees.

Radhanath Swami's journey to becoming a leader in ISKCON began when he first encountered the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON, in 1970. He was deeply inspired by the philosophy and practices of Krishna consciousness and decided to dedicate his life to serving the mission of ISKCON.

In 1971, Radhanath Swami officially joined ISKCON and took initiation from Srila Prabhupada. He quickly became an active member of the community, serving in various capacities and helping to spread the message of Krishna consciousness to people from all walks of life.

In 1987, Radhanath Swami was appointed as the temple president of ISKCON's center in Mumbai, India. Under his leadership, the temple grew and flourished, becoming a hub for spiritual activities and outreach programs. He also oversaw the construction of the magnificent Sri Sri Radha Gopinath temple, which has become a landmark in Mumbai.

In 1996, Radhanath Swami was elected as a member of the Governing Body Commission (GBC) of ISKCON, the highest managerial authority within the organization. He has served on the GBC for over two decades and has played a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the development of ISKCON worldwide.

Apart from his administrative roles, Radhanath Swami is also a renowned spiritual teacher and mentor. He has traveled extensively, giving lectures and seminars on the principles of Bhakti yoga and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. He has also written several books, including the best-selling memoir "The Journey Home."

Today, Radhanath Swami continues to serve as a leader and teacher in ISKCON, inspiring and guiding thousands of people on their spiritual journey. His unwavering commitment to the mission of ISKCON and his deep understanding of the Vedic scriptures have made him a beloved figure in the organization and beyond.
